Because this is such a small class, I am your instructor, lecturer, lab assistant, grader, and tutor for the course. I happen to be a great resource for many of your questions about this course. But I’m not your only resource!

Tutoring & Homework Help#

The Engineering Tutoring Center provides in-person and online tutoring at convenient times. Their help is specialized to your discipline, including this course.

The Engineering Math Resource Center supports students in understanding how math is used by engineers. Students seeking help on specific problems and assignments from math courses should still stop by the Engineering Tutoring Center or the Aggie Math Learning Center.

Disabilities and Accommodations#

The Disability Resource Center can facilitate accommodations to ensure that students with disabilities can fully participate in University programs, services, and activities.

If you attempt to contact the DRC and they are unresponsive, do not feel gaslit. While it is not ideal to have to request accommodations from individual instructors, I am happy to provide reasonable accommodations to all students as needed. My priority is helping you learn and succeed, and I want to remove barriers to success.

However, there are laws preventing me from providing accommodations without documentation from the DRC. Here’s an example of an email that would force me to refer you to the DRC:

Mental Health#

If you are struggling, professional help is available. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides mental health support and crisis intervention. Student Support Services can assist with academic and personal challenges. CAPSA provides services for survivors of interpersonal violence. In a crisis, you can call or text 988 for support.
